For my team, I'm currently using a Kanban board to monitor priority projects on a high level. I'd like to transition to a Scrum board. What will I be losing/gaining in the transition from one board type to another?
I think what I would refer you to is this article - kanban-vs-scrum
The main thing to consider is how does your team work today and are they interested in a new approach. Switching to Scrum as a top down decision likely will meet w/ some resistance at least and failure at worse. So I would pull in the entire team or at least the key members and discuss this. Scrum is, in some regards more rigid of a process compared to Kanban.
