Transition from all except from current status

Hi all,

I have a workflow where almost all status can go/from every other status. So I set all status to "allow all statuses to transition to this one" and everything seems to work well! ... Except one thing, the fact that it can transition to itself.

I tried looking around at the transition's condition/validator, but I can't seem to find any that checks CURRENT status of the ticket. Is there a way to do this without using any plugin by any chance?

What do you mean by "It can transition to itself ?"

I believe we have the same use case. For the sake of workflow simplicity, I added "allow all statuses to transition to this one", but I don't want to show the transaction in the portal in case the issue is in that status already.
