When an epic is submitted and then the business wants to change some of the requirements, are there fields we can add to the Jira template that would show changes clearly to both business and development. We know you can scroll through history, but we are looking for a way that changes in reqs would have to be added in a new field. Is this doable?

Welcome to the Community! I'd recommend to use versions and to increase the 'version' field for each update. You could use another custom field to indicate the date when the requirement was updated.
