Tips or advice on using JIRA to develop project plans

Hi Everyone, I have been a JIRA user in the past, but recently took a position running a Professional Services team for a company that uses JIRA for almost everything. I have historically run projects from MS Project scheduling tools building out Gantt charts and planning/managing the work effort through a combination of project plan reviews/status meetings.  I haven't done this in JIRA so was looking for any tutorials or training that would be helpful.

My recommendation is to use Plans (previously called Advanced Roadmaps), as that can provide the gantt chart functionality that you're looking for and display the information in a hierarchical format (e.g. Initiative > Epic > Story).
