I'm looking for a timesheet app that has features that will enable us to more easily identify when time quoted is running out.
We have rules internally for quoting for consultancy/spec writing.
We want more visibility of when estimates are running low and exceeding budgets, in as simple way possible
What we'd like is an app that will:
We currently use Tempo, but as far as I can see there isn't a great deal of custom rules that can be set*
*Disclaimer, I am fairly new to Tempo so may be missing something/looking in all the wrong places
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Are you using Tempo timesheets in conjunction with Tempo Planner? With both applications you can plan resources and capacity and also get reports on planned versus actual time per on a plan and drill into epics, issues etc.
Tempo does integrate with Automation for Jira and Scriptrunner and other automation tools. With respect to reporting, you can set up custom reporting.
As you are already using Tempo, you have the top time tracking app in the Atlassian Marketplace and access to a lot of rick time related work attributes to work with.
Take a look at these links and get familiar with the features. Its a rich application and does take a little bit of time to fully grasp all its functionality.
