Timeline hierarchy in PM Template

Hi everyone
I am trying to figure out how I can get hierarchy-levels into the timeline of a PM template.
Currently I have the following structure:
- epic
- task
- - sub-task
What I want to have is the following
- epic
- - task
- - - sub-task
I tried to configure it in issue-hierarchy and issue-types but can not find a proper solution.
