Timeline does not show stories below epics

Hi everyone,

I am trying to display a list of epics and their child stories through the "Timeline" of a "Board".

For the board there is a JQL Filter which collects all the correct epics. The epics are also displayed in the timeline but it does not show which stories are in child relation to those epics.

I have checked the  child level issue scheduling in the settings tab of the board, which correspondes to the timeline. It still does not show up. Any ideas?

Thanks but this does not quite suit my question.
I am able to see all relevant epics already. It's just the structure below the epic, which I cannot display in the timeline.

Hi @Kai Heckel
Doesn't it look like this?Снимок экрана 2026-04-16 090905.png

Hi @Mary from Planyway ,

unfortunately no. I can only see the epics. Stories below the epics are not shown (but they exist).

Are you sure they linked and no filters applied in the Timeline view?

Hi @Mary from Planyway

no there are no filters applied as shown in the screenshot. The stories are also linked as child stories as you can see and they are part of a sprint running from 30th March to Mid April, so they should show up if I am not mistaken.
I feel like I am missing something very small and basic.

The timeline configuration also seems to be correct, right?
