Timeline does not show my ticket in its previous sprint

Prao November 6, 2025

I'm using the JIRA timeline to calculate hours of work in the project based on number of sprint that it is in [ie if it take 2 sprints, then I will just calculate by 10 days of work per sprint * 2 sprint * 8 hours of work per day]

I expect my highlighted ticket 515 to have the purple bar starting since sprint number 6 because this ticket overflow to the sprint number 7.

On the right, the ticket already has both sprint number 6 and number 7 added to Sprint field

I'm not sure if I understand anything wrong here

I think the 515 doesn't show up on the sprint 6 because even though the Sprint field lists both Sprint 6 and Sprint 7, Jira’s timeline may only visually represent the issue in the latest sprint (Sprint 7).

This is standard Jira behaviour: the timeline does not show a bar spanning all sprints the issue was in, only the current/active one.
