Time Tracker no longer displays other employees' timesheets

Rafal Steiner

For some time now, I haven't been able to see the timesheets of other employees in “Time Tracker.” There have been no changes to the permissions.

Hi @Rafal Steiner

I checked in with Susan on our team and it sounds like the issue is almost certainly a permissions setting. In Time Tracker, visibility into other users' time entries is controlled by the Auditor Groups configuration – if your account isn't in one of those groups, you'll only see your own worklogs.

An admin can check this under Apps → Time Tracker → Settings → Auditor Groups and add the right user groups there. If that doesn't resolve it, our support team can look at your specific configuration.

Please let me know if we can provide you further assistance! Happy to help!

Hey Rafal! 👋

When "see everyone's time" suddenly drops to "just my own," it's almost never your Jira permissions — it's a visibility layer inside the app itself. Hempel's pointer above is the right first stop: Time Tracker gates other people's entries behind its Auditor Groups setting, and since Tempo now owns the app, their support can get your account back into the right group quickly.

If you're weighing your options, JetTime (a third-party Jira app) keeps this side simple — team visibility is a single global permission, nothing to fine-tune.

  • Grant JetTime – View Others Work Logs to a user group on Jira's Global Permissions screen — everyone in it can see the whole team's time and timesheets
  • Break team reports down by just about any Jira field — user, project, status, and more
  • Or group by your own custom work log fields. JetTime lets you attach custom fields to each work log
  • Export to Excel or PDF
  • Runs on Atlassian — your team's time data stays inside Atlassian Cloud, we don't have access

Hi @Rafal Steiner

Welcome to the community !!

You can reach out to Tempo support to help resolve this.
If you would be interested in an alternate mktplace app, pls try out,

Worklogs Time Tracking in Jira & Timesheets

With this add-on, you can easily -

  • Prepare your reports based on Project/Sprint/Issue Type/Assignees/Authors and various other filters
  • Create user wise time reports in real time by grouping & categorizing data with aggregation
  • Group your data to build more meaningful reports
  • Enter Time Spent for multiple issues from Time sheet screen. With Calendar view and Board view
  • CSV Export
  • Dashboard gadget
  • Add and use custom attributes to worklogs (like organization, billable status, work type, cost center, etc.) and create reports based on those attributes.

Hi @Rafal Steiner

As you mention that you use a 3rd party app called "Time Tracker", it's best to raise this with the developer of the app.

I know Tempo has bought this, so I would revert to their support.

Hi @Rafal Steiner Are you using Jira's built-in time tracking or do you have a paid third-party Marketplace app installed (f.e. Tempo Timesheets)?

We use "Time Tracker" app.

Cześć @Rafal Steiner

If you are open for new third-party app, I would like to recommend to check our new Aevon Timesheets  for time tracking.

Aevon Timesheets  app is native Jira time tracking, approvals, and billing review — your data never leaves Atlassian infrastructure.

Always worth to check :)

I hope my answer will be helpful for you.
