When I open a ticket on either Chrome or Edge most of the display/UI will load, but something causes the tab to become unresponsive for 1-2 mins. I checked the console logs and there's a lot of deprecated module warnings, but nothing gives any info on why the page is held up. I've checked the network log as well, and it seems like when it's stuck the "auth" request is the last entry before it freezes. When the page finally loads however, the network logs say it only took < 100ms to load.
On MS Edge specifically, a font takes exactly 1.0s to load every time, but i don't run into that on Chrome, nor do I think that's the underlaying issue.
Is there a known fix to this issue? This doesn't seem to be affecting my coworkers, and it's been happening to me for 3 weeks now. It's making work very sluggish
Hi @Elliot Brazier welcome to the community. Your post mentions you're on Jira Server. I don't know what version of Jira you are using, but I noticed this fix a few years ago that kinda sounds like your issue. JRASERVER-72280
You mentioned that it doesn't happen to your coworkers. Have you tried using their computer to see if it's related to the PC? Have they tried both Edge & Chrome?
I didn't find anything else specific in Jira. I did find this KB article that may help: Troubleshooting Long Jira Page Loads
Hey Dan, Thanks for the response! I'm fairly sure we're using Jira server, but I'm not an admin or anything so I can't access any scripts/configurations.
I should've been more clear, my coworkers see this issue, but not as consistently as me. It happens on two different PCs of mine, so I'm fairly sure it isn't a PC issue. I've heard that changing browsers has temporarily fixed it for other people, but it doesn't seem to work at all for me.
Is there something potentially tied to my Jira account that could cause this? Apart from things my organization controls, that seems to be the only common factor between all the setups i've tried
