There is no field to update Sprint on tickets in scrum board

I have created a scrum board and I am adding tickets to the sprints. But when we open a ticket we cannot find field = Sprint.

 

How can we get sprint field on tickets. I need this so that I can directly search for a ticket and add it any sprint I chose.

You need to add the field to the view screen. The method depends on the variation of UI but I will assume the new issue view here.

  1. when viewing a specific issue click on “configure” at the bottom of the right column this takes you to layout
  2. If you see Sprint in the screen the drag to the desired area and you should be good to go. If not then click on the link at the top to the screen
  3. in the screen page add the Sprint field at the bottom. You can then use the layout screen to place the sprint field wherever you would like

@Jack thanks for the prompt response. I need to catch hold of my admin. I shall come back and post here if the issue is solved or not. Kindly watch out for me.
