We are having problems with the incidents of new users in jira, since the fields of assign / reporter / creator are being saved in the database with a value of JIRAUSER15500 instead of the user's name (magali).
We use those fields in the jiraissues table to make some reports, I understand that they recommend using the Atlassian API and that some changes were made, but we had already been in development for a long time.
My version is Jira Software 8.6.1
I would like to know if this change also affects my version https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/convert-usernames-to-user-account-i-ds/ and if by default the user name is you will save with an ID in the jiraissues table of the database or it is possible to retrieve the name of the corresponding user instead of the ID.
