The admin of my project is gone, how can I become admin ?

Hi,

I became product owner of one project on Jira last january.

The problem is, the former admin of the project is gone. I'd like to get the rights of admin to permit the followind evolutions on the boards linked to my project.

Do I have to become project lead also ? If yes, how can I do ?

Hi @Fabien Boisson, assuming there is no other project admin of this project that could also help, you need to reach out to your Jira administrator to grant you the Administer project permission. You don't need to be the project lead to administering your project. Now, depending on what you're trying to achieve, which seems to be more board administration, perhaps becoming the board admin would suffice.
