The Assignee defaults back to me when I open a new issue

When I create a new issue and add an Assignee other than myself, the issue automatically saves with the Assignee as myself. This has happened to multiple people on my team - the issue always reverts to the Reporter on save.

Can you ask you Jira Admin to check : 

1. If there is a post-function in the transition of 'create issue' which assigne the issue to the reporter
2. If there is an automation rule (or other plugin) reassigning the issue after its creation to the reporter
