Text colour changing within jira email notification

Our JIRA email notifications are configured to have White text, with a Navy background. Some of our users have reported seeing purple text on jira email notifications.

e.g

The CSS setting are as follows, which have white text on a navy background. 

NOTE: This is only happening for some of our users, it is not consistent.

Any suggestions on why the colour would change?

Usually when the text is purple like that by default, this could be a link. Also are they using light or dark theme?
