I have a problem with the automations of a software project I am developing. Sending an Alert (email) does not work, when I add a participant to a ticket.
Does anyone have a solution?

is this a 'Jira Service Management' project? The "Request Participants" is a locked field for service management project it seems. This might be the issue.

I followed your directions given in the link you attached but the automation doesn't work, it tells me the email address field is blank
