When a color is assigned to a team through the Team’s avatar settings, the selected color is correctly displayed in the Team field within Jira spaces. However, the same team appears with a different color in Plans.
For example, when a team’s avatar color is set to blue, it is displayed as blue in the Team field within Jira spaces, but the same team appears as sky blue in Plans.
It would be helpful if the team color were displayed consistently across Jira spaces and Plans, using the color configured in the Team’s avatar settings.
Additionally, the Team’s avatar settings currently provide only eight color options. Since our organization has many teams, it is difficult to distinguish them when multiple teams use the same color.
Could you please consider the following improvements?
Apply the Team’s avatar color consistently across Jira fields and Plans.
Add more color options, or allow users to select custom colors for team avatars.
Is there currently a way to synchronize these colors or add additional team colors?
