Hi everyone,

I am having an issue where when I attempt to add a new task/epic to a space, it will appear for a moment, then disappear. This issue just suddenly happened. I can search for the specific tasks but they are no longer showing in the respective space.

Hi @Kyle Sellers

Are you using Scrum template? Have you checked your board filter and the query that shows which issues are being created?

This usually happens when the issue still exists but no longer meets the criteria for viewing in the space/board. Here are the main points you should check:

• Board or space filter - If the JQL has changed, the issue may no longer meet the filter criteria and disappear from view.

• Scrum board auto-subfilter - Issues with fixVersion may disappear if they are not in unreleased versions.

• Unmapped status - If the issue has changed to a status that is not configured in any column on the board, it will no longer appear.

• Issue Security Level - If the issue is created with a security level that you do not have access to, it will disappear after indexing.

• Permissions (Browse Projects) - Changes to the permission scheme may cause you to see the issue in searches, but not on the board.

• Quick Filters - Some active filters may be hiding new issues.

• Differences between team-managed and company-managed - In company-managed projects, changes to the saved filter directly impact what appears on the board.

I recommend starting by checking the Board Filter and status mapping, as these are the most common causes.
