Hello,
I'm part of a little team and we area using the free version of Jira, this is a team managed space. We add several tasks and assigned them last week. Everything was working just fine until today, that one of the team members can't see any of the tasks. Her board appears completely empty, even when we use filters the tasks didn't appear, in any of the views (summary, board, list, calendar, timeline etc.)
When she added tasks she is able to see them but then them disappear again, but the rest of the team still can see and interact with them. She can receive notifications of the tasks assigned to her, and can edit, or add comments if enters the tasks through the notifications.
We have try the filters, but we are at a lost of whats happening with her board. Any ideas?
Have you asked your teammate who cannot see the work items to try browser-related diagnostic steps? For example:
Kind regards,
Bill
Yes, actually she shared her credentials with me, and when I enter from a different browser or even in the app we have the same problem.
We added a new team member and is happening to him also, the funny things is that they can see everything in the attachment section, but can't see anything in any other sections.

How many users are set up in your free Jira site?
Are you using Sprints, and thus a Scrum board versus a Kanban board?

We are 4 users with the one we added today. To be sincere we are new using management tools, so I'm not sure how to answer your question.
As far as we know we have a board in which we move the task around a flow of columns we previously define. So we have in which step of the process we are.
Also I wanted to let you know that we some how "solved" the problem. The board creator active the trial version so he can modified access roles, although the roles were already established as administrators, we needed to change them to a "member" role then again to a "administrator" role and with this magically the tasks returned to the board.

Thanks for that information, @Elisa Chimal as it appears this was user permissions related, as suggested by the answer from @Varsha Joshi

I would check the permissions for her and one who can access. Can she use the same filter as board filter to see her tasks?

Hello Varsha,
As far as I know in the free Jira version we can not configure the permissions. All of the team members are administrators.
When you talk about the filter board, what are you referring?

You can find it next to the board by clicking on the ellipsi

Team-managed spaces do not support configuration of the filter, including changing the shares. Below are the open suggestions to add that feature, although the current recommendation from Atlassian is to use a company-managed space when one wants to configure a filter:
Kind regards,
Bill

Hey thanks @Bill Sheboy, I don't have the option you mention @Varsha Joshi , I actually don't want to add filters, only to understand why one of my teammates can't see the tasks as all are administrators.
We added a new team member to the board and we are having the same problem.

I was not referring to creating a new filter but just to check if the person who cannot see the board correctly to pull the same issues using the generic JQL. Again I do not know if this would be available on the free version.
