Hi,
I just created a new Business Project in Jira Cloud. I can create 2 types of tasks: Task and Subtask.
1. When I create a Task, I cannot see a capability how to create a Subtask of that task
2. I can create a Subtask, but there is no capability to indicate which is the Parent task of that Subtask.
Hi @Kako Kvantaliani ,
You will not be able to create a subtask without the parent issue. If you are creating an Issue by clicking the create button (+)then it will be standard issue type (Task).
Please go through the Configuring sub-tasks page from more information.

I have 2 types of Subtasks: Subtask and Sub-task.
When I use Software Project template it acts as you mentioned. There are Sub-Tasks, not Subtasks. But in case of Business Project template when pressed (Create) I can choose either Task or Subtask.

Resolved. Jira Settings - >Issue type schemes - >removed Subtask type from Business Project and repaced with Sub-Task.

Hi @Kako Kvantaliani ,
Great. You have created a "subtask" has a standard issue type that is the reason, you are able to create an issue with subtask issue type.

Actually, this Subtask type was inherited from the template. The Business Project template should be corrected by Jira service team.

@Kako Kvantaliani , yes, we had the same case with the template. Like you told the resolution is Jira Settings - >Issue type schemes - >removed Subtask type from Business Project and repaced with Sub-Task.
