I have set up a few issue collectors. Task ID is not generated for non-jira users. We need the jira-id to be generated so that the non-jira users can add comments on the email. Can someone please suggest a way/an alternative to it?
The native issue collectors have some limitations in regards to what these non-jira users can do. While they can create issues, it does not extend their abilities to perform other actions or get updates to that issue as an unlicensed Jira user.
In Jira Cloud, there is another alternative that might be helpful here. It is not quite as customizable in regards to fields you see there, but the Jira Service Desk Cloud widget does allow users to create service desk requests without having to create an account first. Perhaps this could help if this is a Service Desk project.
