The closest you can get to defining a swimlane per column at the moment is to include the status in the JQL for the swimlane. So for example if you only want a swim lane to be used for the status 'Review' and 'waiting for review' you would need to add 'AND status in ('Review', 'waiting for review')' to you swimlane JQL.
