Hello, is there a way to have the work lanes only collapse when you click on just the arrow? Currently the whole plain (highlighted area) when clicked collapses the row. Is this a setting thing or would programing need to be involved?
Hi @Jose_ Mike
Unfortunately there's no built-in setting for this — it's just how Jira's board renders the swim lane headers right now. The entire row header acts as the toggle target, not just the chevron icon.
Hi @Jose_ Mike ,
On top of what Ajay said, you can check if there are any open requests on this topic. I did take a quick look but didn't manage to find anything.
Also, you could provide feedback by using Give feedback option (which is probably located above the board) to send this suggestion to the product team.
Cheers,
Tobi

I ran into something similar before. If the arrow is only responding in a very small area, I'd also check whether it's being caused by a custom theme or browser extension. Trying an incognito window or another browser is a quick way to rule that out before digging deeper.
