Supported Ciphers & Parameters for Public/Private Key Generation

Hello Team

I'm trying to integrate my application with Jira using OAuth 1.0 and as part of it we have to generate a public private key pair. Now i wanted to understand what are the different ciphers and parameters that we can use while creating that key. I'm asking this apart from the one method mentioned in the OAuth 1.0 document .

I'm more interested in is there any way we can customise the same. Like use a different bit length other than 1024 or increase the number of days of certificate validity?
