Support Process with multiple projects

Hey everyone,

we are thinking about moving to Jira, because we don't want to have tickets attached to a repo, we want to have multiple repos contributing to a story.

So now we have a team that is doing support and does not know where to create the ticket (in which project).

We want to avoid to have a "support" project and move them between projects after creating the ticket.

Please ping if I am not precise enough with my use case :-)

Hi Elmer - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The only way around that will be to set some type of value on the card when it is created that will designate which project should use that. Maybe a component or a dropdown field. But if the support team doesn't know that either, I am not sure how you will accomplish that. You have to have something to go from.
