We have created a scrum board in JIRA. However, when you go see Backlog, the subtasks do not show up. My filter is set to show subtasks. I click the Backlog button and no subtasks. Please let me know the reason why my subtasks are not showing up.
I have watched a training on LinkedIn where the instructor was showing his Scrum Board in JIRA and subtasks were listed and he was able to schedule each subtask for a sprint release.
I don't think it's possible to show subtasks on a backlog. A subtasks is a smaller piece of a task, which is included (the task) on a sprint. So there isn't any point on showing the subtask on the backlog and put it on a sprint. It follows the task.
