Hi there! I've been tasked with adding two levels of swimlanes in one of our projects. We have a project to cover the business aspects of our company that spans finance, sales, admin, etc, which are labeled accordingly. We use a scrum board that reflects our workflow (selected for development, in progress, complete, etc), and we swimlanes by assignee but would like to further subdivide that into these areas by using labels. E.g. You could quickly see which tasks labeled "finance" are assigned to you, and at what stage in the sprint they appear.
The ideal outcome would be swimlanes-within-swimlanes, effectively. Does anyone have suggestions as to the best way to achieve this?
Hi Brittany - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You can't really implement what you describe. The closest you could come is creating Swimlanes for every combination of user and labels that you have. And I don't think you want to do that. They would not be Swimlanes within Swimlanes, but just different Swimlanes in a particular order.
Thanks John! This saves me a lot of trouble. I think I'll try using Quick Filters for the labels instead and see how that goes.
