Sub Tasks Transitions upon Parent Issues Transitioning using API

Hello, I`m currently doing an automation on JIRA. It create tasks and subtasks based on external systems. Well, I need to transitions all subtasks issues when my parent issue is solved. Anyone can help me on this?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Create another Automation Rule that will transition the subtasks to solved when the parent issue transitions to solved.

When you are in the Automation screen there is a Templates section. There you will find a template for a rule that does exactly that.

But, theres no way doing that using API?

Not with a single API call, no.

You would need to execute multiple API calls to retrieve the child subtasks of the parent issue and then transition them.
