Sub-Task issue type in Jira

Hi,

Is it possible for having a sub-task only from one issue type ?

For eg, if my project has different issue types: Story, Task , Sub-task. Is it possible to have a sub-task only from the Story issue type which is not applicable for the Task issue type ?

No, the sub-task function is the same for all issues in the project, you can't restrict the type of subtask available.
