Structure: How to add new filter to default filter list

I want to create an additional sub filter for Priority filters. For issues categorised as Highest and High I want to have subfilters 1-10. I may have 10 issues categorised as Highest priority but I want to further prioritise them from 1-10 within the priority "Highest"

Priority is a standard field, but you could create a new cascading select list and use that instead of priority.

Alternatively you could use the features within ScriptRunner to create a behaviour based on the priority field selection that requires and entry into a second field if the 'Highest' option is selected.
