Stories not displaying as an option for a new child issue, only offering tasks

Hi,

I'm trying to add stories to my Epics but I'm only being offered tasks as an option when I choose to add a new child issue. Does anyone know how to add a story, not just a task?

Hi John,

Where do I find the  issue type scheme settings for the project? Apologies, but I'm unaware of where to find that.

Hi Clem - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Check the issue type scheme that is attached to your project to see what Issue Types are in the scheme.

Go to Project Settings > Then select Issue Types on the left hand menu.  :-)
