Stories moving to the new sprint - Ready for Deployment, Product Team approval.

We are running a sprint process that has a Dev board, QA board...etc. When we close the old sprint and start, the old stories in the Development Done column are carrying over. My question is what is the best process to do here? Since we have a Devops team and a product team statues that could get a bit backlogged, not sure what to do here to properly close out the sprint. Can I create a separate process for Devops for the Ready for Deployment statues?
