Status creation order display

I Created a work flow with the following order  for in a Next-gen software:

To do -> In progress -> Deployed in dev -> QA Deployment request ->  deployed in QA -> QA Approved -> Deployed in production

but when i click on the drop down status button in my project, i get a different order

Not possible in Next-Gen yet as far as I know -  this is only possible in Classic using the workflow transition properties at this stage.

It looks like from above the order is based on status category and then on alphabetical order.

You might want to raise this as a suggestion in JSWCLOUD-17392, which is the main area for Next-Gen ideas!
