Status changelog tracking within issue type

Leonardo Di leva August 18, 2023

Hi Atlassian Community

I need to create a report like it's being showed in the following link https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/11-Q-amp-As-to-track-changes-in-Jira-projects/ba-p/2443699

The point is that I can't find a way to get to that screen, is it necessary to install the add-on "Issue History for Jira"?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Leonardo Di leva

I am from the Issue History for Jira team and the author of the article. Could you please specify which report exactly you need?

Hi @Yuliia_Borivets__SaaSJet_

What I need is something like that, where where I can see the old and new value of the status field, when a change occurred and who updated it.

Thank you!

Thanks, @Leonardo Di leva

So, Jira built-in history allows you to see the status changelog for a single issue (check the Activity section - History at the bottom of each issue).

For other cases, if you want to get a status changelog for the list of issues in a separate column, Issue History for Jira can help. You will see when a change occurred and who updated it. Additionally, you can choose a specific status transition and review them.

You can install the app and try it free for 30 days to find out if it is good for you.

Also, there is a free online demo, and you can take a look at the add-on before the installation.
