May I add new status category ?

Hi Martin,

No, there are only 3 status categories and those cannot be changed.

...and the reason is that a lot of logic in Jira depends on knowing if a status is a "Todo" (work to be done), "In progress" (work in progress) or "Done" (work completed).

For example, boards, burndowns, reports, etc.
