Standard Jira functionality that attaches an email to Issue raised

Does the standard built-in functionality of Jira v8.1.0 mail handler allow the email to be an attachment on the Issue that gets created?

e.g. A user sends an email to a mailbox, a task is automatically created and the email is attached to the Issue.
