PROBLEM:

I have two separate and distinct projects within Jira that do not share workflows or anything else other then that they are on the same Jira cloud instance.

In both of these projects I have similar named sprints (Sprint 1, 2, 3, etc).

The problem is that each project sees the other projects sprints - which makes it VERY confusing as to which sprint things should be assigned to:

Sprint 1 (Active Sprint)

Sprint 1 (Active Sprint)

Sprint 2 (Future Sprint)

Sprint 2 (Future Sprint)

etc...

NEED:

Each project should only see the sprints which are created under each particular project.  This means that it should only show:

Sprint 1 (Active Sprint)

Sprint 2 (Future Sprint)

etc...

Sprints do not belong to projects, they belong to boards.

To get a board to only show appropriate sprints, change the filter so that it cannot include issues that might be added to sprints on other boards.

Hello,

You can change the names of the sprints, when you create them.
