Our "Ready for Sprint" sprint was mistakenly started and needs to be set back to the "not started" state because the associated sprint number is used in numerous queries throughout the organization.
How can a sprint that was opened be reset to not started?

There's no option to reset the sprint that has been started. Instead, you'll need to complete the existing sprint and create a new sprint.
