My JIRA Sprint Health Gadget hours per do do not match issue hours per day.

The number of hours for 1 day when logged against an issue is 6 hours.

The number of hours on the Sprint Health Gadget does not change to 1 day until there is at least 8 hours logged against an issue.

What do i need to do to have the Sprint Health Gadget show 1 day for every 6 hours.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This is down to the "working hours" that Jira looks at in the time-tracking functions.  The sprint gadget is "prettifying" the number into your settings for working days.

Go to Admin -> Issues -> time tracking and check what you've got set for the working day.  I suspect you've got the default of 1 week = 5 days = 40 hours (8 hours a day)

Thanks Nic, i can check that out (I don't have Admin access) but my assumptions was that working hours is set at 1 week = 5 days = 30 hours, as when i type 1d in the original estimate time in an issue at converts to 6h.
