i have no idea why i can't login my local JIRA server with correct account and pwd.
it occurred 'Sorry, your userid is required to answer a CAPTCHA question correctly' repeatedly. i try to find out some solution to resolve it from atlassian community, someoen said to clear the cookies, but it not works after i clear all the cookies and history.
i have no other way but to uninstall and install the application again, then import the data backed up from my local mysql, unfortunately, it still not work and occur the same issue.
it is crazing! Could someone encountered the same issue? or have the way to resolve it? i will appreciate it.
Hi @talos chen
Try https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-reset-failed-login-count-from-jira-application-database-329352344.html to reset the captcha lock from db
This is good input, however, it should only be used if simply requesting the admin to reset the password is not an option. @talos chen, What I don’t understand from your post is that you are indicating you are uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resolve? This seems to indicate you are an admin?
