Hey Jira!

We are owning a team-managed project in Jira. I tried to create an EPIC, and Tasks and got this

Changes are made but the issue is not visible.

For the issue to be visible it must match your project and filters, and have a status that's assigned to the board.

I am also not able to add an EPIC.

How can I change filters?

Hi @Narine Grigoryan

You might want to look into the following things:

Statuses are independent of columns in these settings. If a status isn’t assigned to a column, any issues with that status won’t be visible on the board.

By default, if there were new statuses added by your Jira Project's admin that aren’t assigned to a column, they will not visible on the board.

"For the issue to be visible it must match your project and filters"

Do you have the backlog enabled? I ask because if you're running a sprint in a TMP, and try creating an issue, it puts it in your backlog instead of the active sprint to avoid scope creep with the same error message. So you might want to check your backlog if you haven't already.

You'd also want to make sure that no custom filters have been configured/enabled on your board that might be hiding issues. There's an option to "clear all filters" if one of the custom filters has been enabled.

I have issues that are not showing up in a team-managed work management project Kanban board and have discovered that this project type does not have the option to configure the board (compared to a Kanban project type). Nothing that has the status Done shows up in the Done column on the board; you have to hunt for them someplace else. It's annoying.
