Software for my service buisness

Hello,

I'm not sure how this software can help my employees to have a better-streamlined shop process. We are in the machining business where we have about 200 ongoing jobs that need to go through 4 departments ( 30 people) to be serviced. each person needs to enter the time spent with a report. 

Please let me know if you have helped customers with similar requests.

Yes, it is possible with jira and we have built some solutions like the one you are referring to. Jira provides you with workflows where you can determine at which stage a job is being serviced. It also provides you with time tracking capabilities.

There is also a plugin called tempo timesheets that let's you track hours  by employee and departments and provides detailed reports.
