Slack notifications to dynamic user

Hello! we use Jira Server, version 8.19.0.

We need to implement a workflow like shown below (example):

When a task is assigned to some user, then Jira sends a custom Slack notification to this user (Jira and Slack are synchronized to AD). Therefore, we need to send a notification to a specific user on a specific task.

As far as we see, OOB-functionality does not allow to do this. 

Are there any options?

Welcome to community!

For Slack integrations there are no OOB functions for this. If you already have a slack plug in I would suggest reaching out to the vendor to see if they have options for you.

Beyond that you would want a tool like automation for Jira or Scriptrunner to build this within your project.
