Slack notifications tagging wrong person as creator

I have Jira connected to Slack so that every new ticket is notified in a channel. However, the message always tags the same one person as the creator regardless of who actually created it. 

For example, if Jane created issue-101, the Slack message would still say

"@John created a issue. Issue-101..."

How do I fix this?

I'm seeing the same issue, but no settings for controlling this. Would love to know how to fix this!
