Hello

Trying to show up the Remaining Estimate on a Backlog view, So, at a glance I can see how many actual hours were spent on each issue.

Chat GPT suggestion was :

To display the Remaining Estimate in the backlog view of your Jira project, follow these steps:

  1. As an administrator, navigate to Board Settings (click the three dots in the top right corner for Cloud Jira).
  2. Choose Card Layout.
  3. In the dropdown for the Backlog view, scroll down to find the Remaining Estimate field.
  4. Click Add and then return to the board.

This configuration allows you to see the remaining work for each task directly in the backlog, which is especially useful when grooming the backlog or selecting tasks for a sprint1. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask! 😊

But there is no Card Layout settings anywhere.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Prajakta Amraotikar -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You are using a team-managed project, and configuring the fields on the backlog view and cards on the board is not possible yet.

Here is a suggestion to add that feature, which you may watch / vote for, to see progress: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17336

Kind regards,
Bill
