Should I be using Jira Service or maybe a Company Managed Work project?

Hi, I hope someone can help me :)
I have a problem using Jira Work, I've been playing with workflow rules and for some reason I no longer see Category in the drop down for which field to constrain in a transition.

The field is in the form but it's not in the drop down for the workflow rule. I'm sure it was.

It disappeared when I made Category a required field and then not required again.

This is a Team managed project.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I can't speak to whether or not the field was available before in this workflow Rule, but I can confirm that it is not currently available in the Rule in my instance. And I have not done the steps of changing it to Required and then back to Not Required.

Making the Category field available for JWM forms is already noted in this change request, to which you can add your vote/comment:

I have not found any change request for making the Category field available in the workflow rules.
