I want to receive notifications when a comment is posted in an issue I'm watching. My coworkers don't always @mention me in their comments, but they shouldn't have to if its on an issue I'm watching.
I know the complaint is usually that Jira sends too many email notifications, but I actually want more! Am I wrong in assuming that by watching this issue, I should be receiving email notifications for comments? (I do receive plenty of other emails about other types of changes made to issues I'm watching, just not for the comments.)
Hey Kelly,
This entirely depends on the notification scheme that is set up for the project in question. If "watchers" is notified on issue comment, you will receive an email.
