Sharepoint and JIRA Linking is available for which flows/features?

I want to connect my existing Sharepoint and JIRA instances such that I can transfer JIRA Issue data to Sharepoint document and vice versa.

To what extent is this possible and how?

This integration is not available out of the box, however, it can be performed using the REST APIs of JIRA or by using third-party plugins.
