Severity field values

Hi, 

Which values do contain Severity field. Are they similar to Priority field values?

Severity is not a field Jira has by default, so it's a custom field you have defined.  (In fact, getting rid of Severity as implemented in Bugzilla was one of the reasons Jira was written)

You might be using it like priority, but we can't tell you what you've set up in your system to help you with your processes, because we don't know what you've done or what the intentions were!
