Setup: Tomcat is misconfigured

I was working to switch my server over to SSL. After much mess I finally got the key working, but ran into this issue. Guessing something is wrong in the XML because I already added the suggested special characters stuff.

There's a "close comment" tag on the first line of your server.xml in your question, but I suspect you're also missing the flags from the connector.  You've actually commented them out - look for secure, scheme and proxyName
